EVENT: The Investor Reception, March 2022
Austin Venture Association organized The Investor Reception, a gathering of the greater venture community on the evening of March 12, 2022, at the OJO Labs upscale office space with stunning balcony views of the downtown skyline.
We made history with the largest variety of professionals from the venture community Austin has ever had in one place. We were pleased to present this unique experience as Austin embarks on an important moment in time. “Austin Next” podcast host, Jason Scharf, mentioned it was “the best event by far”.
The celebration was the the place to be for venture capitalists, family offices, incubators, accelerators, startup studios, growth/private equity, angel funds/networks, venture folks working remotely, and visitors flying in for SXSW.

It was invitation-only of which our Founding Partners and Executive Board helped select from professionals in the greater venture community.
We enjoyed hundreds of Mexican street tacos from TacoWey, and Texas beer. We also offered BOXT Wine, cider from Austin Eastciders, canned cocktails from Canteen, and sparkling and still water from Death Water, all of which are fast-growing startups in CPG.
